Picture is Worth a Thousand Words"
The
map below illustrates the extent of Wal-Mart’s influence in
the north state. Each colored circle represents 10 miles from each
of the sites. As one moves past the 10 mile radius from each store,
the circles (and Wal-Mart’s influence) begin to overlap. In
order to keep the map easy to read, we’ve drawn circles to
extend only 20 miles out from each city.

The
map includes the six cities where Wal-Mart has existing stores, plus the proposed sites in Paradise and Chico.
